The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.
SASSA might be rendering solutions for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency claimed it is alarmed with regard to the higher range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office status sassa devoted to service the area each day. The assistance point designed for intervention ordeals a substantial inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it hard to the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more means to help the servicing of all shoppers and increase entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
